Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-story Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building.

Ludlow Castle is a Norman Fortress that has been extended to be a Royal Palace giving it a significant place in English history. The castle has been owned by the Earles of Powis since 1811 who have preserved the current building which is open to visitors. The South Theater Built during the reign of Emperor Domitian, between 90-92AD, the South Theater can seat more than 3000 spectators. The first level of the ornate stage, which was originally a two-story structure, has been reconstructed and is still used today. The theater's remarkable acoustics allow a speaker at the center of the orchestra floor to be heard throughout the entire auditorium without raising his voice.

Santa Eulalia’s Festival, Celebrating the bravery of a unique child The story of #Eulalia dates back to ancient days of #Christian persecution in #Barcelona, during the era of #Roman emperor Diocletian. Eulalia was a young Christian that lived in the countryside of Barcelona which is now called Sarrià. Eulalia was a strong #humanrights activist who refused to recant her faith in Christianity, speaking out against the #dictatorship of emperor Diocletian. For this reason, she was subjected to severe torture by the Roman army.

Noratus cemetery also spelled Noraduz, (Armenian: Õ†Õ¸Ö€Õ¡Õ¿Õ¸Ö‚Õ½) is a medieval cemetery with many early khachkars located in the village of Noratus, Gegharkunik Province near Gavar and Lake Sevan, 90 km north of Yerevan. The cemetery has the largest cluster of khachkars in Armenia.
